Printed material and photographs pertaining to the descendants of General Jean Baptiste Labatut and to the Labatut House located near New Roads in Pointe Coupee Parish, La. Printed materials, primarily photocopies, contain the histories of the Labatut family, Labatut House, and the Louisiana Militia organized under Governor Claiborne. Photographs (1973, 1976) show the interior and exterior of Labatut House, family members, and include copy prints of unidentified 18th century portraits found in the Labatut House.
